Michael Gallagher is one of the leading trans-media writer/directors with over 1 Billion views on his online videos, collaborations and viral marketing campaigns. In early 2009, Michael founded 'Totally Sketch', a weekly online comedy series featuring a rotating cast of comedians and Internet celebrities. The channel has over 1.1 million subscribers and half a billion views. In 2012, Gallagher directed co-wrote and produced his first narrative feature film 'Smiley' which received a theatrical release through AMC Independent. Mark Olsen of the Los Angeles Times called Smiley "a surprisingly effective low-budget horror film that takes as its true villain the casual cynicism and nihilistic misanthropy that so often go along with online culture". Gallagher is also a Co-Founder of Maker Studios, which in 2014 was purchased by Disney. Recently, Gallagher co-created and directed the digital series 'Interns' for Relativity Media and is prepping to direct a comedy feature shooting summer of 2015.
