William Xifaras was born in raised in Massachusetts; primarily the city of New Bedford, and later Boston. He is of Greek-Armenian ancestry. The son of Beatrice Keshian of Medford, MA and Michael Xifaras of New Bedford, MA. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's in Management, where he also played some football.Bill began film acting after his release from Massachusetts state prison system in 2005 (after having served 5 years for Intimidation). He took numerous classes in acting, film, and scene study; while simultaneously volunteering his time to talk to at-risk youth about the importance of education and goals. He landed his first principal role was in Warner Brothers' The Town as a correction's officer. But due to his 5 year incarceration, they chose to recast him in a scene that was ultimately edited out of the theater version.Other principal roles include: 20th Century Fox's The Heat, Sony Pictures The Equalizer, Universals' Ted 2, Netflix's Wheelman, Hulu series Castle Rock, Caviar's Sound of Metal, and Artina Films By the Gun. Director's he's worked with include Ben Affleck, Paul Feig, Antoine Fuqua, Seth MacFarlane, Jeremy Rush, Kevin Hooks, Darius Marder, James Mottern, and Richard Duque-Henao.Actor's he's worked with include Ben Affleck, John Hamm, Sandra Bullock, Harvey Keitel, Denzel Washington, Seth MacFarlane, Frank Grillo, Scott Glenn, and Riz Ahmed. In addition to film, he works in the Voice Over business.Upon request, Bill donates his time talking to public schools, after-school groups, and social programs aimed at youth's in crisis. Causes such as child welfare, education, homelessness, and children in foster care, have been and continue to be, a priority for him.
