Sonia Sudi was born the 1st of December 1984 in Tirana, Albania where she lived for the first six years of her life. In 1991 she fled to Switzerland with her mother to escape the Albanian revolution, finding refuge in the small mountain village of Leysin. It was there she lived and studied, earning her high school diploma and later studying politics and international business for three years at the American College of Switzerland.Working mainly as a model and as a tv/radio animator, Sonia finally got her break when Le maître du Zodiaque (2006), a large French mini series came to Leysin to film portions of the 2006 season. She presented herself to the team, and as a role had just opened that day, got a chance to audition. She impressed the director Claude-Michel Rome and was given the part, effectively beginning her French acting career. Sonia recently moved to Paris with encouragement from Francis Huster and Rome to continue her acting career.
